BIG Sigh of Relief!!

After a week of worrying, we can finally breathe easy!! Most of you don't know, but our homestudy that Montgomery sent to INS in Atlanta was "lost!" We've been checking almost daily the Atlanta e-mail automated response that tells you what processing dates they are working on. How it works is you send a blank e-mail to this address, and within seconds an automated response is sent back to you, stating what dates they are currently working on. If you put something in the body of the e-mail then someone will read it, but they will only respond if they have had BOTH your application and homestudy for longer than the current processing date. Anyways, I'd been checking this daily, and for some strange reason, the lady that checks the e-mails felt compelled to look for our homestudy since I had been checking so often! Come to find out, they didn't have it so she e-mailed me back to tell me this!! So Stacie and I are freaking out, calling everyone under the sun that we think can tell us something! Our homestudy agency tells us that they can't do anything, and Montgomery tells us that they can't do anything, so needless to say we're a bit upset!!

One week later, which brings us to about 10 minutes ago...we e-mailed the Atlanta address again, this time with the question of whether or not our homestudy has shown up. Miraculously, they tell us that it was received on February 28th, it just wasn't put into the system last week! So thankfully, we now know our homestudy is there, and we know our processing date! All we have to do now is just keep lifting this up in prayer, because God has definitely proven Himself time and time again!! We are praying that everything will keep going quickly and smoothly like it has been. Thanks everyone for your prayers! We definitely feel them!!!
